I work for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and am now on my fourth overseas tour. Seekers is the third letting agent I have entrusted with our home in this time. We moved to Seekers in November 2001 at the start of our present posting because the agent we had used for our last two tours, a small private company, was closing down as the owner was retiring. We had always found them excellent, and were slightly reticent at moving to a bigger firm, having had a bad experience of a major letting agency in the 1980s.

But I cannot recommend Seekers highly enough. We have had truly first class service for the last two years. This has included not only letting, monitoring and maintaining our property, but supervising major repairs to our house when disaster struck (through no fault, I should say, of Seekers or its staff). The effort put in by Seekers to help us out was both impressive and reassuring to us when we were so far away from the disaster site.

Both my wife and myself have been really impressed by Melanie and Jennie, who act as Seekers’ interface with us as its clients. Both of them are efficient, effective, reliable and pleasant, keeping us fully informed when everything is running smoothly, as well as when small problems arise. And, as I said above, both acted admirably when disaster struck.

I initially spoke with Nigel Harvey and then yourself with regards to advice on letting the property and to obtain quotes in the event that I advertised for a tenant and then handed them over to yourselves; the quotes were fair and the advice friendly and helpful, considering that I was not a client of yours at the time.

I have been asked by Seekers to provide a client’s view of their services.

I work for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and am now on my fourth overseas tour. Seekers is the third letting agent I have entrusted with our home in this time. We moved to Seekers in November 2001 at the start of our present posting because the agent we had used for our last two tours, a small private company, was closing down as the owner was retiring. We had always found them excellent, and were slightly reticent at moving to a bigger firm, having had a bad experience of a major letting agency in the 1980s.

But I cannot recommend Seekers highly enough. We have had truly first class service for the last two years. This has included not only letting, monitoring and maintaining our property, but supervising major repairs to our house when disaster struck (through no fault, I should say, of Seekers or its staff). The effort put in by Seekers to help us out was both impressive and reassuring to us when we were so far away from the disaster site.

Both my wife and myself have been really impressed by Melanie and Jennie, who act as Seekers’ interface with us as its clients. Both of them are efficient, effective, reliable and pleasant, keeping us fully informed when everything is running smoothly, as well as when small problems arise. And, as I said above, both acted admirably when disaster struck.

I very much doubt that our case is the exception, more the rule. I have absolutely no qualms in recommending Seekers to anyone who wishes to place their home in the hands of the most responsible letting agency I have come across in over 20 years of my own experience.
